SiSiB® WR5051 is a water repellent in powder form for gypsum and construction material mixes containing gypsum.

Applications

SiSiB® WR5051 is mainly used for gypsum (including phosphogypsum).

How to use:

Weigh 100 parts of gypsum powder (including phosphogypsum powder), add 1-2 parts of heavy waterproof powder SiSiB®WR5051, stir thoroughly and evenly. In addition, weigh 80 parts tap water and add 1.5 parts calcium hydroxide (hydrated lime) to dissolve in water, getting the 8-9 PH of water solution. Then quickly added to the gypsum powder and stirred into a slurry, then quickly poured in the mold, cure for about 30-60 minutes.

After 3 to 5 days at room temperature, it has excellent waterproof effect. The water drops on the surface of gypsum with an eyedropper, and the water drops roll into a ball, which is not absorbed by gypsum for a long time. Ten days later, the waterproof plaster block is soaked in water for 2 hours, and the water absorption rate is less than 5%, reaching the national gypsum first-class waterproof standard, and the water absorption rate of the gypsum molding material without waterproof powder reaches 40% after 2 hours.

The mechanical strength of gypsum products with waterproof powder (compressive strength) has not been reduced, so it is so far the best gypsum special waterproof powder.

Packing and Storage

SiSiB® WR5051 is supplied in 25Kg bag.

In the unopened original container SiSiB® WR5051 has a shelf life of at least 12 months in a dry and cool place.

Storage beyond the date does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
