Introduction

ADDSiL™ 8290 is a polyether modified polydimethylsiloxane with ABA structure; it is used to enhance flow, leveling and gloss.

Recommended Dosage

The recommended dosage is 0.05~0.5% of the total formulations.

The above recommended levels can be used for orientation. Optimal levels are determined through a series of laboratory tests.

This additive can be added during the grind, let down or be post-added.

ADDSiL™ 8290 is supplied in 25Kg plastic pail or 200Kg steel drum.

Storage

ADDSiL™ 8290 will become hazy when stored at temperatures below 5°C. The product should be warmed to 20°C and stirred before use. In the original unopened packaging, ADDSiL™ 8290 has a shelf life of 24 months.
