Introduction

ADDSiL™ 12609 is a silicone surfactant for regulation and stabilization of the cell structure in high resilience molded polyurethane foams based on TDI/MDI mixtures consisting of TDI 50+.

Applications

ADDSiL™ 12609 is used as cell regulating HR foam without increasing the closed cell content or foam tightness, and it can prevent foam defects like coarse cell structure and voiding beneath the foam surface.

Typical use levels are 0.3~1.0 parts ADDSiL™ 12609 per 100 parts polyol.

Packing and Storage

ADDSiL™ 12609 is supplied in 200Kg steel drum, 1000Kg IBC tote.

When stored at ambient temperature in the original unopened packings, ADDSiL™ 12609 has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of production.
