Siloxane Powder

Introduction

SiSiB® SP5060 is a powder formulation which contains 55% ultra-high molecular weight siloxane polymer and 45% silica.

SiSiB® SP5060 is specially designed for polyolefin masterbatches to improve the dispersion property through better penetration in fillers.

SiSiB® SP5060 is more efficient without any migration problem compared with those traditional external additives like Amide, Wax, Ester.

Applications

• SiSiB® SP5060 can be used in modified plastics, cable materials, elastomers, thin-walled complex parts, silicon core tubes.

• SiSiB® SP5060 can be used in PVC cable materials to improve processing performance and surface smoothness.

• SiSiB® SP5060 can be used in PA, PC, PPS and other engineering plastics with high processing temperatures to improve product fluidity, promote crystallization, improve surface floating fibers, and improve impact strength.

• Adding 2-4% to elastomers can achieve a good surface smoothness effect.

• Use methods:

Mix SiSiB® SP5060 and resin in proportion and granulate directly. When used for processing plastics that are sensitive to moisture, please dry at 150°C for 2-4 hours.

• Recommend dosage:

While the dosage is 0.5%-1.0%, the processability, fluidity and demoulding properties of the product can be improved; while the dosage is 1.0%-4.0%, the surface properties of the product (smoothness, finish, scratch resistance, wear resistance, etc.) can be improved.
