Introduction

ADDSiL™ 1229 is polyether modified polysiloxane.

ADDSiL™ 1229 can be used in most paint resins with excellent compatibility, no reverse influence on recoatibility.

ADDSiL™ 1229 provides excellent leveling and antifoam stability when used in both solvent-born and water-born systems. It is especially suitable for polyurethane coatings.

Applications

ADDSiL™ 1229 is suitable for both water-based and solvent-based systems.

Recommended Dosage

The recommended dosage is 0.1% ~ 1.0% of the total formulations.

The above recommended levels can be used for orientation. Optimal levels are determined through a series of laboratory tests.

It is added during any stage of the production process including post-addition.

Storage
