Silicone Surfactant for Rigid Foam

ADDSiL™ 11030 surfactant is a non-hydrolysable silicone glycol copolymer for manufacturing of rigid polyurethane foams.


It is designed for Pentane and HCFC-141b blown polyurethane foams, it provides good nucleation and excellent flow ability.

Application


  • ADDSiL™ 11030 silicone surfactants for polyurethane foam are suitable for use in systems for refrigeration, lamination and pour-in-place foam applications, using hydrocarbons as blowing agents and co-blown with water.


  • ADDSiL™ 11030 is also used in polyurethane foam sheet and heat insulation for pipes, using hydrocarbons as blowing agents and co-blown with water.


  • ADDSiL™ 11030 provides good solubility of cyclo-pentane and cyclo/iso-pentane mixtures in the typical polyol formulations used in the appliances industry.


  • ADDSiL™ 11030 by SiSiB is an ideal stabilizer in non-fluorocarbon premixed polyols systems and in pour-in-place applications, in systems using water and HCFC 141b as blowing agents as well as HFCs or HFOs.


  • ADDSiL™ 11030 silicone surfactant for rigid polyurethane foam delivers extremely fine celled foams, thus obtaining foams with very good thermal insulation performances


  • The recommended concentration of this product is 2% of polyol (php).


Packing and Storage


  • ADDSiL™ 11030 surfactant will become hazy when stored at temperatures below 20°C and will solidify to a soft silicone wax at temperatures below 10°C. The product should be warmed to room temperature and stirred before use.


  • ADDSiL™ 11030 is supplied in net weight 200Kg steel drum or 1000Kg IBC tote.


  • When stored at ambient temperature in the original unopened packing, ADDSiL™ 11030 has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of production.
