SiSiB® PC16266 dimethicone/vinyl trimethylsiloxysilicate is a kind of silicone resin elastomer gel which is non-emulsified siloxane reticulate copolymer, containing non-volatile low-viscosity polydimethylsiloxane. In addition, this product provides comfortable and smooth feel and can be used as the thickening agent in the formulation.

Applications



  • How to use:


  • This product could be dispersed into the oil-phase using simple mixing.


  • SiSiB® PC16266 can be added to the silicone oil phase in an emulsion formulation.


  • SiSiB® PC16266 can be post-added to emulsions provided the emulsion is viscous enough for the products to be dispersed.


  • For ease of use, blending with dimethicone, cyclomethicone, phenylmethicone, fatty acid ester or hydrocarbon may reduce this product’s viscosity.


  • The material of SiSiB® PC16266 should be processed in an enclosed vessel to prevent the volatility when heat is used.


  • SiSiB® PC16266 would become very thick or even lumpy after a period of time. This is normal and it will recovery to original state after slightly agitate.



Packing and Storage


  • SiSiB® PC16266 is supplied in 18Kg plastic drum or 200Kg steel drum.


  • In the original unopened packaging, SiSiB® PC16266 has a shelf life of two years in a dry and cool place.
