Cyclopentasiloxane (and) Dimethicone Crosspolymer

Introduction

SiSiB® PC16276 is a mixture of high molecular weight silicone elastomer in cyclomethicone. It can be dispersed in oil phase excellently as it is a clear to slightly translucent gel.

SiSiB® PC16276 can be used into w/o emulsions, water-in-silicone oil, and o/w emulsions and anhydrous products to provide dry smoothness, light silky and non-greasy skin feel.

SiSiB® PC16276 can be used in skin care, hair care, and other potential formulations, such as sun care, color cosmetics, and styling aid, etc.

How to use:

• SiSiB® PC16276 can be dispersed into the oil phase with simple mixing.

• SiSiB® PC16276 can be added to the oil phase or the silicone phase of the emulsion formulation.

• SiSiB® PC16276 can be post-added to the emulsion, provided that the viscosity of the emulsion is sufficient to disperse the product.

• For ease of use, mixing with dimethicone, cyclomethicone, phenylmethicone, fatty acid esters or hydrocarbons may reduce the viscosity of this product.

• SiSiB® PC16276 materials should be processed in closed containers to prevent volatilization when heated, and the processing temperature should not exceed 60°C.
