Introduction

ADDSiL™ 5530 is a universal organic silicone defoamer. It is highly cost effective and can be used in any step of the manufacture of paint.

ADDSiL™ 5530 is suitable for epoxy and UV coating systems.

Applications

ADDSiL™ 5530 is recommended for alkyd, acrylic, especially for epoxy and polyurethane oil coating systems, as well as solvent-free systems.

Recommended Dosage

The recommended dosage is 0.1-1.0% of the total formulations.

The above recommended levels can be used for orientation. Optimal levels are determined through a series of laboratory tests.
