Silicone PP Masterbatch

SiSiB® MB6050 is an ultra-high molecular weight siloxane polymer dispersed in polypropylene homopolymer. It is designed to be used as additive in polypropylene compatible systems to improve processing and modify surface characteristics.

Application



  • SiSiB® MB6050 should be blended with virgin polymer pellets to give the desired Siloxane leveling the final product.


  • SiSiB® MB6050 can be added during compounding in a single screw extruder or added at the feed hopper during the injection molding or extrusion.


  • Recommend dosage:

    When added at 0.5% to 2%, it improved processing and flow of the resin, including better silicone molding filling, less extruder torque, internal lubrication, mold release and faster throughput..

    When added at higher levels, it improved surface properties, including lubricity, slip, lower COF, scratch resistance and abrasion resistance.


Packing and Storage


  • SiSiB® MB6050 silicone masterbatch is supplied in 25Kg craft paper bag.


  • In the unopened original container SiSiB® MB6050 has a shelf life of one year in a dry and cool place.
