Introduction

SiSiB® PC16255 is a transparent to translucent gel consisting of a high molecular weight silicone elastomer mixed with cyclomethicone. It can be formulated into W/O emulsions, and W/SI emulsions and anhydrous products to provide dry smoothness and silky skin, non-greasy feel, thickening effect.

Benefits & Applications

SiSiB® PC16255 can be utilized in a variety of personal care products, including hair care formulations, antiperspirants, deodorants, skin creams and lotions, sunscreen products, and cosmetics.

SiSiB® PC16255 could be dispersed with low viscosity silicone oil and then add into the oil-phase.

SiSiB® PC16255 can be added to the oil phase or silicone phase in an emulsion formulation.

SiSiB® PC16255 can be post-added to emulsions provided the emulsion is viscous enough for the products to be dispersed.

For ease of use, blending with dimethicone or cyclomethicone may reduce this product’s viscosity.

SiSiB® PC16255 should be processed in an enclosed vessel to prevent the cylcopentasiloxane from volatilizing when heat is used.

Recommended Dosage

It is recommended to conduct a preliminary test to determine the optimal dosage.

Packing

SiSiB® PC16255 is supplied in 20Kg plastic drum, or 150Kg steel drum.
