SiSiB® PC16346 is a mixture of high molecular weight Dimethicone/Vinyldimethicone Crosspolymer with Cyclopentasiloxane, Bis-PEG-12 Dimethicone, Lauryl PEG-9 Polydimethicone which is a white gel having self-emulsifying effect due to hydrophilic modified part, which allow it to be formulated into W/O emulsions, W/Si emulsions, and O/W emulsions, to provide dry smoothness and a light silky skin, non-greasy feel when applied in eye cream, essence, etc.

Applications


  • SiSiB® PC16346 can be used in various kinds of silicone personal care products such as facial mask, water cream and essence.


  • How to use:


  • SiSiB® PC16346 can be post-added to emulsions provided the emulsion is viscous enough for the products to be dispersed.


  • For ease of use, blending with dimethicone or cyclomethicone may reduce this product’s viscosity.


  • SiSiB® PC16346 can be added to the silicone oil phase in an emulsion formulation.


  • The material of SiSiB® PC16346 should be processed in an enclosed vessel to prevent the cylcopentasiloxane from volatilizing when heat is used.


  • The recommended processing temperature is not over 60°C.


  • SiSiB® PC16346 would become very thick or even lumpy after a period of time. This is normal and it will recovery to original state after slightly agitate.


  • This product, dimethicone crosspolymer in skin care, could be dispersed into the oil-phase using simple mixing.


  • Recommend Dosage:

    The recommended usage level is 1-20%.


Packing and Storage


  • SiSiB® PC16346 is supplied in 20Kg plastic drum or 200Kg steel drum.


  • In the original unopened packaging, SiSiB® PC16346 has a shelf life of two years in a dry and cool place. The storage temperature could not be over 60°C.
