SiSiB® AP1280 is a co-oligomeric diamino/alkylfunctional silane adhesion promoter that may be used over a wide range of applications. Hydrophobic SiSiB® AP1280 diaminofunctional silane may be used in coatings, adhesives, and sealants to improve the adhesion of amino-reactive resins such as silicones (RTV), two-part urethanes, silylated urethanes, MS polymers, and two-part epoxies to inorganic surfaces, plastic surfaces, and inorganic fillers.
SiSiB® AP1280 amino silane produces significantly less by-product (VOC) and has a correspondingly low odor level during application.

SiSiB® AP1280 silane is a versatile product that provides improved product performance and quality.
SiSiB® AP1280 silanes may be used as an additive or as a primer in coatings, adhesives, and sealants applications. When used as an additive, SiSiB® AP1280 can eliminate the need for special primers in numerous bonding applications.
SiSiB® AP1280 may be used to improve adhesion in RTV silicones and hybrid silanecrosslinked systems.
SiSiB® AP1280 can also be used for mineral filler treatment. The diamino and alkyl functionalities result in unique functional filler properties when SiSiB® AP1280 treated minerals are incorporated into silicone polymers.
SiSiB® AP1280 is supplied in 200Kg steel drum or 1000Kg IBC container.
In the unopened original container SiSiB® AP1280 has a shelf life of one year in a dry and cool place.
