Silicone Quaternium-18 (and) Laureth-3 (and) Laureth-25

SiSiB® PC15383 is a quaternary alkyl ammonium silicone emulsion, which has powerful and broad-spectrum performance of antimicrobial in both gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria. This product can show good long-lasting color lock performance when used in hair dye formulations due to its unique functional group structure.

 

In addition, silicone quaternium 18 is water soluble, anti-static and can provide hair softness. It's an ideal ingredient for hair conditioner and other hair care formulations.

Application


  • SiSiB® PC15383 can be used as an ideal color-lock aid for silicone personal care: hair care products such as shampoo, hair conditioner, hot oil, liquid gel and hair dye. It also can be used as anti-bacteria agent and anti-fungi agent.


  • How to use:

    SiSiB® PC15383 has good compatibility with cationic surfactants and non-ionic surfactants but may not compatible with anionic surfactants when it is used excessive.

    SiSiB® PC15383 is suggested be added in the final procedure to make the better performance, in which silicone temperature range is below 50°C.


  • Recommend Dosage:

    The recommended dosage of this silicone oil for sale is 0.2 - 2.0%. It is also recommended to carry out preliminary tests to determine the optimum quantity for particular application.


Packing and Storage


  • SiSiB® PC15383 is supplied in 20Kg plastic drum.


  • In the original unopened packaging, SiSiB® PC15383 has a shelf life of 12 months in a dry and cool place at room temperature.
