Silicone-LDPE Masterbatch

SiSiB® MB1050 is an ultra-high molecular weight polysiloxane silicone dispersed in low density polyethylene (LDPE). It is designed to be used as additive in resin compatible systems to improve processing and modify surface characteristics.

Application



  • SiSiB® MB1050 should be blended with virgin polymer pellets to give the desired Siloxane leveling the final product.


  • SiSiB® MB1050 can be added during compounding in a single screw extruder or added at the feed hopper during the injection molding or extrusion.


  • Recommend dosage:

    When added at 0.5% to 2%, it improved processing and flow of the resin, including better silicone molding filling, less extruder torque, internal lubrication, mold release and faster throughput..

    When added at higher levels, it improved surface properties, including lubricity, slip, lower COF.


Packing and Storage


  • SiSiB® MB1050 siloxane silicone additive is supplied in 25kg, craft paper bag and it can be customized according to the special needs.


  • In the original unopened packaging, SiSiB® MB1050 has a shelf life of 24 months at dry condition, room temperature.
