Vinyldimethyl Terminated Methyl-Phenyl Polysiloxane

SiSiB® VF6800 polymer are vinyl terminated dimethyl-diphenyl polysiloxanes or dimethyl -methylphenyl polysiloxanes that are available with various phenyl contents, vinyl contents and viscosities. SiSiB® VF6800 is a colorless clear liquid.

SiSiB® VF6800 is available in different viscosities, refractive index and vinyl content.



Application


  • The higher phenyl content materials can be used for index matching which improves clarity. SiSiB® VF6800 dimethylpolysiloxane oil in a variety of silicone oil viscosity is used in addition curing formulations in which a platinum catalyst and silicone-hydride crosslinker are present.


Packing and Storage


  • SiSiB® VF6800 vinyl silicone oil is supplied in 5Kg, 25Kg pails, and 200Kg steel drums.


  • In the original unopened packaging, SiSiB® VF6800 has a shelf life of 36 months.
