Leveling Agents

ADDSiL™ 1210 is a solution of polyether-modified polysiloxane with good compatibility with most paint resins and no adverse effects on recoatability. It provides slip, polish, and excellent anti-crater performance. It is similar to BYK-310.

Introduction


ADDSiL™ 1210 is the solution of polyether modified polysiloxane which has good compatibility with most paint resins, and has no reverse influence on recoatability.


ADDSiL™ 1210 can provides slip, gloss enhancement and excellent anti-crater performance.


ADDSiL™ 1210 can be compatible with acrylic, alkyd, amide, epoxy, nitrocellutherine, phenolic, polyester, polyurethane and vinyl systems.

Applications


  • ADDSiL™ 1210 is recommended to use in the solvent coating system and baking system.


Recommended Dosage


The recommended dosage is 0.1% ~ 1.0% of the total formulations.


The above recommended levels can be used for orientation. Optimal levels are determined through a series of laboratory tests.


It is added during any stage of the production process including post-addition.


Packing


ADDSiL™ 1210 is supplied in 25Kg pail.

Storage
