Introduction

SiSiB® PC19585 is a dispersion of 25% wt silicone polyether in dimethicone. The product is an ideal material specifically for water-in-volatile silicone formulations.

As a dispersion aid for both non-polar and polar ingredients, SiSiB® PC19585 can make non-polar ingredients in the external silicone phase and polar ingredients in the internal aqueous phase.

Benefits & Applications

SiSiB® PC19585 can be used in a wide range of personal care applications such as color cosmetics, skin care, sun care and antiperspirants and deodorants.

How to use:

Add the water phase slowly to the oil phase using a high-speed mixer to enhance the stability of W/O emulsion. Increasing the viscosity by increasing the proportion of water phase.

Stir the product before use.

Use a homogeniser to stabilize the product further.

Electrolytes, preferably NaCl at a level of 1-2% should be added to the water phase to ensure long-term stability.

The emulsion can be made at ambient temperature if the formulation is free from solid ingredients.

Recommended Dosage

The recommended usage level of this product is 1%-5%.

Packing

SiSiB® PC19585 is supplied in 25Kg plastic pail or 200Kg steel drum.
