KOBOND™ 8349

ADDSiL™ 8349 is a polyether-modified silicone compound that reduces surface tension and enhances wetting without affecting recoating. It provides excellent substrate wetting, leveling, and hydrolysis resistance. It is similar to BYKETOL-OK and BYKETOL-SPECIAL.

KOBOND™ 8349 is mixture of different solvent with high boiling point.


KOBOND™ 8349 can improve the wetting ability of the coating on the substrate and improve the leveling of the paint film.

Applications


  • KOBOND™ 8349 is recommended to use in the alkyd, acrylic, amino baking paint and polyurethane oil coating systems and solvent free systems.


Recommended Dosage


The recommended dosage is 0.1% ~ 1.0% of the total formulations.


The dosage can be adjusted according to different systems and can be added at any stage of production.


The above recommended levels can be used for orientation. Optimal levels are determined through a series of laboratory tests.

KOBOND™ 8349 is supplied in net weight 25Kg pail.
