Introduction

SiSiB® WR1306 is a water-thinnable, solvent-free emulsion of polysiloxane modified with functional silicone resin. It is used in aqueous masonry coatings and aqueous primers to enhance water repellency, water resistance and water-vapour permeability. It also improves the processability and antiblock characteristics of the aqueous coatings.

Applications

SiSiB® WR1306 is suitable for silicone resin emulsion paint and silicone resin plasters, silicate emulsion paints and plasters, highly filled emulsion coatings, whitewash emulsions, interior paints, stoppers and reinforcing stoppers.

SiSiB® WR1306 should be added to the coating formulation in ratios of 1-5% depending on the total weight of the coating.

SiSiB® WR1306 can be diluted with water as a water-repellent primer on material substrates and a water repellent for in-plant manufactured insulation materials.

Packing and Storage

SiSiB® WR1306 is supplied in 200Kg steel drum or 1000Kg IBC tote.

SiSiB® WR1306 has a shelf life of 12 months in the unopened container below 30°C. Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
