
ADDSiL™ 8670 is a polyether-modified polydimethylsiloxane wetting agent that reduces surface tension in aqueous coatings, improving ink wetting on polyethylene, polypropylene, and PET used in packaging. It is similar to CoatOSil-7608, Silwet L7608, and DOWSIL-67.

ADDSiL™ 8670 can improve the wetting of water-borne coatings on difficult substrates.
ADDSiL™ 8670 can improve the wetting of water reducible flexographic and rotographic inks on high slip polyethylene, polypropylene and polyethyleneterephthalate used in packaging.
ADDSiL™ 8670 can reduce in the amount of organic co-solvents used to effect good wetting and confers improved printing characteristics.
The recommended dosage is 0.1% ~ 1.0% of the total formulations.
The above recommended levels can be used for orientation. Optimal levels are determined through a series of laboratory tests.
ADDSiL™ 8670 is supplied in 25Kg/Pail or 200Kg steel drum or according to customer’s request.

When stored at temperatures between 10°C and 35°C in the original unopened containers, ADDSiL™ 8670 has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of production.
