Recommended Dosage

The recommended dosage is 0.1-0.25% of the total formulations.

The above recommended levels can be used for orientation. Optimal levels are determined through a series of laboratory tests.

To achieve optimal defoaming, ADDSiL™ 8141 should be added to the mill base. If it is incorporated at a later time, sufficient shear forces must be ensured in order to achieve good defoamer distribution and to prevent crater formation.

Packing

ADDSiL™ 8141 is supplied in 25Kg plastic pail or 180Kg steel drum.

Storage

When stored at temperatures between 10°C and 35°C in the original unopened containers, ADDSiL™ 8141 has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of production.
