Applications

ADDSiL™ 1338 provides excellent slip and release effect and improves the wear resistance of the coating film.

Due to the high viscosity of ADDSiL™ 1338, it is strongly recommended to dilute to 40% before use to avoid clumping of the final product. The solvent should be added slowly to ADDSiL™ 1338 while stirring. Suitable solvents include alcohols, ethylene glycol and dimethylformamide.

Recommended Dosage

The recommended dosage is 0.1% ~ 1.0% of the total formulations.

The above recommended levels can be used for orientation. Optimal levels are determined through a series of laboratory tests.

It is added during any stage of the production process including post-addition.

ADDSiL™ 1338 is supplied in 15Kg pail.
