C13-16 Isoparaffin (and) Dimethicone

Introduction

SiSiB® PC13201 is a mixture of ultra-large molecular weight dimethicone and isoalkane (C13-16 Isoparaffin), offering a silky-smooth feel and a lightweight, non-greasy texture.

It forms a permeable film on the skin, providing a lasting, soft, silky touch while enhancing the moisturizing properties of the product.

With its high hydrophobicity, SiSiB® PC13201 improves the water resistance of formulations, delivering long-lasting water-resistant effects.

In hair care, SiSiB® PC13201 enhances dry and wet combing, repairs hair quality, provides color and heat protection, and helps reduce frizz. It increases elasticity, maintains curl, and leaves hair silky, soft, and shiny.

SiSiB® PC13201 can be used to prepare O/W, W/O products, also can be used in anhydrous formulations, hair care products, skin care products, makeup products, sunscreens and tanning products.

SiSiB® PC13201 can also apply in antiperspirant and deodorant.

Usage:

• Emulsion Products:

It is suggested to dilute with cyclic silicone oil or low viscosity silicone oil, Isoparaffin, Isononyl Isononate, etc., and then add the other components;

When the oil phase needs to be heated, the rest of the components can be heated to the specified temperature before adding SiSiB® PC13201 diluent and stirring evenly to avoid long heating.

• Non-Emulsion Products:

It is suggested to dilute with cyclic silicone oil or low viscosity silicone oil, Isoparaffin, Isononyl Isononate, etc., and then add the other components.
