Applications

UV curing coatings.

ADDSiL™ 8250 is used as defoaming additive for radiation-curing coatings, it can improve mechanical resistance and reduces friction.

It is especially suitable for pigmented formulations.

Recommended Dosage

The recommended dosage is 0.1~1.0% of the total formulations.

The above recommended levels can be used for orientation. Optimal levels are determined through a series of laboratory tests.

It is added during any stage of the production process including post-addition. ADDSiL™ 8250 can be used as supplied or diluted before addition. Pre-dilution in a suitable solvent simplifies dosage and incorporation.

Packing

ADDSiL™ 8250 is supplied in 25Kg plastic pail or 180Kg steel drum.
