Silicone LLDPE Masterbatch

SiSiB® MB12050 is an ultra-high molecular weight siloxane polymer dispersed in LLDPE. It is designed to be used as additive in polypropylene compatible systems to improve processing and modify surface characteristics.

Application


  • SiSiB® MB12050 may be processed in the same way as the thermoplastics on which they are based.


  • SiSiB® MB12050 should be blended with virgin polymer pellets to give the desired Siloxane leveling the final product.


  • SiSiB® MB12050 linear low density polyethylene can be added during compounding in a single screw extruder or added at the feed hopper during the injection silicone molding or extrusion.


  • Recommend dosage:

    When added at 0.5% to 2%, it improved processing and flow of the resin, including better mold filling, less extruder torque, internal lubrication, mold release and faster throughput..

    When added at higher levels, it improved surface properties, including lubricity, slip, lower COF, and mar resistance, ideal silicone lube for treadmill.


Packing and Storage


  • SiSiB® MB12050 is supplied in 25kg paper bag and it can be customized according to the special needs.


  • In the original unopened packaging, SiSiB® MB12050 has a shelf life of 24 months at dry condition.
