Introduction

ADDSiL™ 8450 is a polyether-modified polydimethylsiloxane. It is a highly effective silicone additive, provides a strong reduction of surface tension and reduces the friction coefficient.

Recommended Dosage

The recommended dosage is 0.1~1.0% of the total formulations.

The above recommended levels can be used for orientation. Optimal levels are determined through a series of laboratory tests.

It is added during any stage of the production process including post-addition.

Packing

ADDSiL™ 8450 is supplied in 25Kg / 200Kg plastic drum or steel drum or according to customer’s request.

Storage

In the original unopened packaging, ADDSiL™ 8450 has a shelf life of 12 months.

Separation or turbidity may occur at temperatures below 5°C. Warm to 20°C and mix well.
