Introduction

SiSiB® PC12801 is an oil soluble silicon wax which is composed of a disordered distribution of alkyl chains on linear polysiloxane. It can be completely dissolved in most oils and solvents. With good skin affinity, refractive index and moisturizing feeling, it is ideal ingredients for personal care, especially in hair oil, rinse type, leave-in hair products, and antiperspirant products.

Benefits & Applications

SiSiB® PC12801 can be used widely in all kinds of personal care products, including: hair oil, rinse type, leave-in hair products, and antiperspirant products.

In most formulations, SiSiB® PC12801 can replace mineral oil and petrolatum (in part or in whole) up to 5%.

How to use:

Heat the product to 40°C (104°F) and mix with other ingredients on the basis of formulations. The product can be added directly to the oil phase of cosmetic formulations.

Recommended Dosage

0.1%-20.0% replace white mineral oil or petroleum jelly: the recommended usage does not exceed 5%.

Packing

SiSiB® PC12801 is supplied in 18Kg or 180Kg drum.

Storage

When stored at temperatures between 10°C and 35°C in the original unopened containers, SiSiB® PC12801 has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of production. When the temperature is below 13°C, the appearance changes from transparent to cloudy, waxy, and can become transparent after slight heating, which does not affect the use.
