Silicone POM Masterbatch

Silicone masterbatch MB11050 is a pelletized formulation by dispersing 30% ultra-high molecular weight siloxane polymer in POM. 


It overcomes the weakness of traditional silicone oil easily to screw slip. A small dosage can improve the flow of the resin and processing properties. Now it is widely used to improve the lubricity and surface properties of plastics.

Application



  • SiSiB® MB11050 improves the flow of resin and processing, less extruder torque, reduced equipment wear, better mold filling, mold release.



  • SiSiB® MB11050 improves POM abrasion resistance (under the condition of oil free, the abrasion resistance effect is much better than the traditional PTFE teflon and molybdenum disulfide）


  • SiSiB® MB11050 has good stability, non-migratory and surface without precipitation.


  • SiSiB® MB11050 mixed with its compatible system silicone resin at a certain proportion then molding or pelleting directly



  • Addition level at 0.5%to 2%, it can improve the product’s processing, liquidity and mold release.


  • At a high level: 1% to 5%, it can improve the surface properties (smoothness, scratch resistance and abrasion resistance).


Packing and Storage


  • SiSiB® MB11050 is supplied in 25Kg craft paper bag.
