Introduction

SiSiB® PC11277 is a silicone MQ resin in white powders or flakes. This resin is a compact and double-layer cage structure composed of methyl-terminated multi-branched oligosiloxanes. The functional group -OH is further condensed in many applications to give highly crosslinked, insoluble polysiloxane networks. Due to this unique molecular structure, SiSiB® PC11277 exhibits excellent film-forming property, moisture and water resistance, and resistance to both high and low temperatures.

SiSiB® PC11277 is a solvent-free MQ silicone resin, free from harmful organic solvents such as isopropane and xylene.

SiSiB® PC11277 can be utilized as a film former in cosmetics, providing water repellency treatment. It serves as an additive in makeup, skincare products, and sunscreens. Additionally, it functions as reinforcing filler for silicone pressure-sensitive adhesives. As an intermediate, it is used in protective coatings that offer scratch resistance and insulation properties. Furthermore, SiSiB® PC11277 can be added to release agents, deforming agents, and other formulations.
