Slip & Mar Resistance Additive

Introduction

SiSiB® CE7510 is water-dispersible, ultra-high molecular weight polydimethylsiloxane dispersion.

SiSiB® CE7510 additive reduces the coefficient of friction, provides anti-blocking properties, and improves mar resistance. It enhances slip and mar resistance in water-borne or solvent-borne systems containing polar solvents.

SiSiB® CE7510 also improves water resistance in water-borne systems, while imparting leveling, wetting, and gloss properties.

Applications

• SiSiB® CE7510 is compatible with acrylic, alkyd, epoxy, nitrocellulose, polyester, polyurethane, and vinyl system resins. It can be used in water-based gravure ink, relief ink, water-based varnish, water-based industrial paint, interior wall latex paint, wood floor paint, and other paint and ink systems.

• The dosage depends on the formula type, solvent, resin system, and total solid content, or based on the required performance. It can be added during grind, let down or be post-added. The recommended dosage is 0.05-3% of the total formula weight.

• It can be added directly or after dilution, but it must be stirred thoroughly before use. Thorough preproduction testing is necessary to ensure expected performance.
