
ADDSiL™ 8316 is a polyether-modified polydimethylsiloxane solution that effectively reduces surface tension, enhancing the wetting of critical substrates. It is used in pigmented systems to prevent Bénard cell formation and improve leveling. It is similar to BYK-306.

ADDSiL™ 8316 can be used in pigmented systems to prevent the formation of Bénard cells and improve leveling.
ADDSiL™ 8316 is recommended for polyurethane and epoxy systems.
The recommended dosage is 0.01~1.0% of the total formulations.
The above recommended levels can be used for orientation. Optimal levels are determined through a series of laboratory tests.
It is added during any stage of the production process including post-addition.
ADDSiL™ 8316 is supplied in 25Kg / 200Kg plastic drum or steel drum or according to customer’s request.
Separation or turbidity may occur at temperatures below 5°C. Warm to 20°C and mix well.
