Introduction

SiSiB® WR1701 is an octyltriethoxysilanes isomers mixture which is designed for undiluted form for the hydrophobic priming and impregnation of concrete and reinforced concrete.

SiSiB® WR1701 is used in the hydrophobic treatment of fillers and pigments.

Applications

Treated concrete will have the following permanent properties:

Significant reduction in chloride and water absorption

Improve the durability of anti-freeze-thaw de-icing salt stress

No loss in breathability

Imparts good adhesion for paints

SiSiB® WR1701 reacts with moisture in the atmosphere and water in the pores of building materials to eliminate alcohol. The generated active substance significantly reduces the absorbing ability of the concrete in the active area (the depth of penetration after post-treatment) without plugging any pores or capillaries. Impregnated building materials maintain very high water vapor permeability.

Packing and Storage

SiSiB® WR1701 is supplied in 170Kg steel drum or 850Kg IBC drum.

In the unopened original container SiSiB® WR1701 has a shelf life of one year in a dry and cool place.
