
ADDSiL™ 1257 is a polyether-modified polysiloxane with excellent compatibility and no adverse effects on recoatability. It provides mar resistance and enhances the gloss of paint films. Suitable for solvent-based, UV, and water-based systems, it is similar to DOWSIL-57.

The recommended dosage is 0.1% ~ 1.0% of the total formulations.
The above recommended levels can be used for orientation. Optimal levels are determined through a series of laboratory tests.
It is added during any stage of the production process including post-addition.
