
KOBOND™ 8074 is a macromolecular hyper-dispersant suitable for both inorganic and organic pigments. It reduces system viscosity, increases pigment loading, and provides anti-flocculation properties, enhancing gloss, color strength, and preventing color floating. It is similar to BYK-161.

KOBOND™ 8074 has anti-flocculation ability which can increase gloss, color strength and avoid color floating effect.
KOBOND™ 8074 is suitable for middle-polar systems and has excellent compatibility with common coating resins.
KOBOND™ 8074 can improve the wetting and dispersing ability of the base materials to shorten the grinding and dispersing time.

The recommended dosage as below:
Inorganic pigment | 10~15% |
Organic pigment | 30~90% |
Carbon black | 70~100% |
The above recommended levels can be used for orientation. Optimal levels are determined through a series of laboratory tests.
It should be added before the grinding stage during the production.
