SiSiB® PC5221 is a monomeric alkylalkoxysilane. It hydrolyzes in contact with water, releasing methanol, to form highly reactive silanols, which further condense to form oligomeric and polymeric siloxanes.
This alkyl alkoxy silane is the quivalent of Dow's Z-6194, Wacker's M2-DIMETHOXY, ShinEtsu's KBM-22.
